Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Commission, repair, and service mechanical and electrical equipment related to new Data Center Cooling projects.

• Review work orders, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and associated materials to identify tasks to be performed, tools, equipment, and parts required for installation or repair.

• Showcase experience in managing complex jobs with the aim of reducing the impact on the customer's building/experience while also minimizing the financial burden on the company.

• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address unusual issues in system operation and maintenance.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while upholding a professional appearance and demeanor.

• May provide management with insights regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and recommendations for product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; HVAC servicing or similar electromechanical experience is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time to various job sites for commissioning and warranty work.

• Exceptional analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and manuals.

• Ability to remain engaged in projects through root cause analysis.

• Outstanding customer service skills, with a commitment to exceeding the expectations of both internal and external customers.

• Capability to work independently and timely, ensuring the job is completed accurately in collaboration with external technicians and following up on parts delivery.
