This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Commission, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems related to new Data Center Cooling initiatives.
• Examine work orders, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and associated materials to identify tasks, tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair.
• Showcase expertise in managing complex jobs aimed at reducing the impact on the customer's building experience while also minimizing financial implications for the company.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address unique challenges in system operation and maintenance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while upholding a professional appearance and demeanor.
• May provide insights to management concerning customer satisfaction, product performance, and recommendations for product enhancements.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Three to five years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; HVAC servicing or comparable electromechanical experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 85% of the time to various job sites for commissioning and warranty tasks.
• Excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Ability to remain engaged in projects through root cause analysis.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding the expectations of both internal and external customers.
• Proficient in working independently and managing time effectively to ensure job completion in collaboration with external technicians and follow up on parts delivery.
• Preferred completion of a trade/technical school or certification.
• Experience with industrial HVAC systems or similar electromechanical products is desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Intermediate experience with commercial projects.
• Experience in building automation is a plus.
