Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Conducts troubleshooting and repairs of technical and mechanical equipment failures in the field.

• Completes all necessary documentation of service work conducted, including time sheets and other reports as directed by the Branch Supervisor.

• Ensures that all required training and certifications for the position are kept current and up to date.

• Maintains spare parts inventory in the van at specified levels.

• Evaluates and addresses situations using established procedures to isolate and resolve equipment issues.

• Reports design, reliability, and maintenance concerns through the field service management software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution.

• 5 years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3 years of prior experience in a similar or related field.

• Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Capability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.

• Proven product knowledge, ideally gained through hands-on experience.

• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Must have a solid understanding of internal combustion engines.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow electrical and hydraulic schematics.

• Proficient in using various basic electrical testing and diagnostic tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of AC and DC electrical theory.

• Valid Driver's License.

• DOT Certification.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
