Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance for contract clients as assigned.

• Deliver on-demand corrective services, including 24/7 emergency and paid support to customers as necessary.

• Collaborate with designated installation specialists to assist with start-up services as required.

• Communicate product quality concerns to the assigned Field Service Manager and complete reports as instructed.

• Educate KPI customers on system operations and maintenance procedures.

• Support customers with part orders, consumables, repair and return of defective components, and information requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School / Trade School diploma or higher.

• Preferred 3-6 years of experience in field service.

• Solid mechanical and electrical understanding of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

• Self-motivated with demonstrated organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to read and interpret equipment manuals and electrical schematics.

• Ability to learn and master software applications to aid in troubleshooting and system maintenance.

• Adhere to safe work practices and follow safety regulations in line with our client’s standards.

• General knowledge of PLCs, including understanding inputs and outputs from devices.

• Strong customer orientation with the ability to foster relationships and establish trust, respect, and confidence swiftly.

• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

• Competent in operating forklifts and personnel lifts (scissor lifts and boom lifts).

• Welding mild steel skills are a plus (optional).

• Ability to install air piping, whether copper or aluminum (optional).

• Travel is expected, averaging up to 70%.

• Must be capable of lifting 75 lbs., walking long distances, and standing for extended periods.
