Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote technical assistance through phone and ticketing systems.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system failures comprehensively.

• Prepare formal service quotes for clients.

• Execute complete system testing and calibrations following repairs.

• Regularly manage individual service cases to align with departmental metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Oversee travel arrangements and expenses in accordance with ITW guidelines.

• Foster service growth within the region.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with 3–5 years of pertinent experience, or a High School Diploma/GED accompanied by 5–7 years of practical experience in electronic instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Proven commitment to workplace safety standards and best practices.

• Exceptional diagnostic abilities and the skill to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

• Competence in utilizing hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring equipment.

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, presented with a professional demeanor.

• Adaptable and flexible with strong organizational abilities; willing to work outside of typical business hours when necessary.

• Self-driven with the capacity to take initiative, work independently, and resolve issues in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Microsoft Navision and Dynamics CRM is advantageous.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Willingness to travel within the United States up to 70% of the time.
