This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Ensure overall customer satisfaction.

• Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs.

• Keep customers informed about the progress during maintenance or when dealing with a system downtime.

• Carry out machine installations, Engineering Change Notices that impact system upgrades, and Hardware/Software upgrades that may require technical support.

• Perform any additional job responsibilities assigned within the scope of the position. ⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent work experience.

• Certificates in relevant areas, such as mechanics, electronics, automation, or data processing are preferred.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Proficient in using personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office, and capable of navigating network sites and email communications.

• Logical troubleshooting skills with the ability to isolate issues at the PCB or component level.

• Competent in interpreting electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

• Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry.

• Experience in repairing high-speed paper handling machines such as check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters; familiarity with ATMs or copiers is preferred.

• 3-5 years of preferred technical field service repair experience, such as in aviation, medical equipment, vending machine repair, and/or military repair experience.

• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

• While some computer knowledge is necessary, this role is primarily focused on electro-mechanical repair.

• The ideal candidate may have some PC knowledge, but this position is not designed for IT or help desk professionals.

• A company van will be provided, and you will commute daily from your home to customer sites. Therefore, it is crucial to reside within a reasonable distance from the assigned territory.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

• Must be capable of sitting and/or standing for extended periods, as well as frequently kneeling, bending, squatting, sitting, and twisting.

• Must be willing to work at all customer sites as necessary, including financial institutions, casinos (gaming licensing may be required post-hire), truck stops, recreational parks, retail stores, etc.

• Ability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotational basis to meet business needs.

• Must be available for an on-call rotation, typically once every 3 to 5 weeks, including evenings and weekends; 24/7 availability may be required on rare occasions.

• Must be able to travel to customer sites during working hours.

• Occasional travel outside your designated territory, including air and overnight travel, may be required.

• Ability to accommodate limited accessibility at job sites.

• Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
