This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Ensure overall customer satisfaction.

• Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs.

• Keep customers informed about progress during maintenance or system downtime.

• Complete machine installations, Engineering Change Notices impacting system upgrades, and Hardware/Software upgrades that may require technical assistance.

• Follow safety guidelines and policies, complete mandatory Environmental Health & Safety training, and report any job site accidents (related to injury or property damage) in a timely manner.


⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or have completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent work experience.

• Certifications in related fields, such as mechanics, electronics, automation, or data processing are preferred.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Proficient in using personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office, and navigating network sites and email communication.

• Logical troubleshooting abilities with the capability to isolate issues at the PCB or component level.

• Proficient in interpreting electric schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

• Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry.

• Experience repairing high-speed paper handling machines, such as check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters; experience with ATMs or copiers is preferred.

• 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience is preferred, including aviation, medical equipment, vending machine repair, or military repair experience.

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

• While basic computer knowledge is necessary, this position primarily focuses on electro-mechanical repair.

• The ideal candidate may have some PC knowledge; however, this role is not intended for IT or help desk professionals.

• A company van will be provided for travel from home to customer sites, hence it is essential to live within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned territory.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.

• Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods and frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit, and twist.

• Must be available to work at various customer sites, including financial institutions, casinos (gaming licensing may be required post-hire), truck stops, recreational parks, and retail stores, as necessary.

• Ability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotational basis to meet business needs.

• Must participate in an on-call rotation, typically once every 3 to 5 weeks, which may include evenings and weekends, and occasionally 24/7 availability may be required.

• Must be able to drive to customer locations during working hours.

• Occasional travel outside the assigned territory, including air and overnight travel, may be necessary.

• Ability to accommodate limited accessibility at a job site.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
