Field Service Technician

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of customer service and support for our clients.

• Self-sufficiently diagnose and repair diverse types of high-speed cash-handling devices.

• Monitor and manage inventory of parts and tools.

• Keep updated on modifications to the technical and functional components of GLORY equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing or have completed professional education in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent work experience.

• Preferred certifications in relevant areas such as mechanics, electronics, automation, or data processing.

• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.

• Proficient in using personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email communication.

• Strong logical troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues at the PCB or component level.

• Capability to work competently with electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

• Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution, as well as digital and analog circuitry.

• Experience in repairing high-speed paper handling equipment, including check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters; experience with ATMs or copiers is preferred.

• Preferred 3-5 years of technical field service repair expertise, such as in aviation, medical equipment, vending machine repair, or military service.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• Although some computer knowledge is required, this role is primarily focused on electro-mechanical repair.

• The ideal candidate may have basic PC knowledge; however, this position is not designed for IT or help desk professionals.

• A company van will be provided, requiring you to commute daily from home to customer locations. Therefore, residing within a reasonable distance from the designated territory is essential.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.

• Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods, as well as frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit, and twist.

• Must be willing to work at various customer locations as needed, including financial institutions, casinos (gaming licensing may be required post-hire), truck stops, recreational parks, retail stores, etc.

• Ability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotational basis to meet business requirements.

• Must be available for an on-call rotation, typically once every 3 to 5 weeks, including evenings and weekends; 24/7 availability may be required on rare occasions.

• Must be able to travel to customer sites during work hours.

• Occasional travel outside the assigned territory, including air travel and overnight stays, may be necessary.

• Ability to accommodate limited accessibility at job sites.

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
