This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee all facets of customer service and support for our clients.
• Independently diagnose and repair various high-speed cash-handling devices.
• Monitor and manage inventory of parts and tools.
• Keep updated on the technical and functional developments of GLORY equipment.
• Currently pursuing or have completed professional training in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications in relevant areas such as mechanics, electronics, automation, or data processing are preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office, navigating network sites, and email communication.
• Strong logical troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues at PCB or component levels.
• Capability to effectively interpret electric schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and both digital and analog circuitry.
• Experience in repairing high-speed paper handling equipment, such as check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters; experience with ATMs or copiers is preferred.
• Preferred 3-5 years of field service repair experience, including aviation, medical equipment, vending machine repair, and/or military repair backgrounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• While basic computer skills are necessary, the primary focus of this role is on electro-mechanical repairs.
• A company van will be provided, and you are expected to commute daily from your home to customer locations. Therefore, it is essential to live within a reasonable distance from the designated territory.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, bend, squat, sit, and twist for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work at various customer sites, including financial institutions, casinos (gaming licensing may be required after hiring), truck stops, recreational parks, retail stores, etc.
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotating basis to meet business needs is required.
• Must be available for on-call duties, typically once every 3 to 5 weeks, including evenings and weekends; 24/7 availability might be necessary on rare occasions.
• Must be able to drive to customer locations during work hours.
• Occasional travel outside your assigned territory, including air travel and overnight stays, may be necessary.
• Ability to work in environments with limited accessibility at job sites.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
