This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Identifies, assesses, and implements necessary service orders, including repairs, scheduled maintenance, and installations within the designated service area.
• Understands company service agreements and ensures that maintenance and services are carried out in accordance with those plans, if applicable.
• Adheres to all relevant technical procedures in compliance with QSR requirements.
• Offers consistent ongoing support to key clients through technical phone assistance, product installation, and field service support.
• Provides feedback on product issues or trends observed in the field and aids in developing solutions.
• Reports any discrepancies from established product quality standards and specifications to the relevant in-house team members.
• Notifies the Supervisor, Field Service of any delays in delivering scheduled service for escalation.
• Ensures that all necessary documentation, emails, vendor credentialing, expense reports, and training are accurate and current; also ensures that tools, supplies, and parts are well-maintained and fully stocked.
• Reports all complaints encountered in the field in accordance with quality system requirements.
• Attends product-specific training sessions as necessary.
• Encourages the acquisition of service agreements by advising customers on the variety of services offered.
• A technical degree or a higher level of education in electronics or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5+ years of technical experience with increasing levels of responsibility is required; experience must be within the medical device or other related healthcare sectors (e.g., hospital biomedical engineering).
• Significant experience in field service work is required.
• Must have proven communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent facilitation abilities.
• Must possess strong analytical skills and the capability to convey complex information effectively; strong interpersonal skills are essential for facilitating problem resolution.
• Must be a licensed driver in good standing with a satisfactory driving record.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines are required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them as necessary.
• Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated excellent computer skills are required; a strong preference for candidates with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency in service-related or inventory control software is required.
