Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Installs, troubleshoots, and offers technical maintenance for hardware and software products and components, primarily at customer locations.

• Conducts scheduled inspections, cleaning, and other services, and executes minor repairs of products within a designated territory.

• Evaluates products for proper functionality, addresses identified issues, and escalates them according to established procedures.

• Organizes service appointments, completes all necessary documentation, and collaborates with customers to ensure satisfaction with service delivery and comprehension of product features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational qualifications or equivalent professional experience required.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience or a comparable combination of education and experience in Field Services.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets DN's fleet criteria.

• Proficient in PC usage with a solid understanding and application of relevant tools and methodologies.

• Familiarity with the industry-specific products and basic ITIL skills is preferred.

• Willingness to attend training sessions in Canton, Ohio for 1-2 weeks, with paid training and multiple training opportunities.

• Capacity to lift and transport heavy items, remain on foot for most of the day, and perform tasks requiring climbing, bending, and stooping while working on equipment.

• Willingness to work in outdoor conditions.

• Flexibility in shift work, including participation in an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends.

• Outstanding customer service skills are essential.

• Ability to organize and manage truck stock parts and tools effectively.

• Demonstrated sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, professional demeanor, and ability to function well in a team setting.

• Capability to pass MVR, background, and drug testing where required.
