Field Service Technician

📋 Description

• Installs, troubleshoots, and delivers technical maintenance for hardware and software products and components, primarily at customer locations.

• Conducts scheduled inspections, cleaning, and various services, and performs minor repairs on products within a designated area.

• Evaluates products for proper functionality and addresses any identified issues, escalating them as per established protocols.

• Organizes service appointments, completes all necessary documentation, and collaborates with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the service provided and their understanding of product features.


⛳️ Requirements

• Education or equivalent work experience is mandatory.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience or a suitable combination of education and experience in Field Services is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential.

• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets DN's fleet standards are necessary.

• Proficiency in PC use and a solid understanding of the pertinent tools and methods are required.

• Familiarity with the relevant industry products and basic ITIL skills is preferred.

• Willingness to attend training sessions in Canton, Ohio for 1-2 weeks, with paid training and multiple training opportunities.

• Capability to lift and move heavy loads, remain standing for most of the day, and perform climbing, bending, and stooping while working on equipment.

• Acceptance of exposure to outdoor elements is necessary.

• Flexibility in shifts, which includes participation in an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends, is required.

• Outstanding customer service skills are essential.

• Ability to manage and organize truck stock parts and tools is necessary.

• A sense of urgency, organizational abilities, professional demeanor, and capability to work in a team environment are important.

• Must be able to pass MVR, background check, and drug test where required.
