Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Install Diebold Nixdorf products and services at client locations.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and preventive service activities.

• Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

• Diagnose and carry out minor equipment repairs.

• Configure and test PCs, peripherals, and associated systems.

• Replace faulty components and ensure the proper functionality of systems.

• Provide technical support and maintenance services to clients within the designated territory.

• Maintain precise service records and documentation.

• Address customer service requests and resolve technical challenges.

• Ensure adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and service-level agreements.

• Deliver outstanding customer service while fostering strong client relationships.

• Assist in the installation, upgrading, and optimization of banking and retail technology solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong computer literacy along with proficiency in diagnostic tools and maintenance practices.

• Capability to lift and transport heavy equipment, and perform physical tasks including standing, climbing, bending, and stooping.

• Willingness to work shifts and participate in evening and weekend on-call rotations.

• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in managing and maintaining inventory of vehicle stock, parts, and tools.

• Strong organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Must meet background screening and driving record criteria.

• Previous experience in a field service or mobile engineering role is preferred.
