This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert project management, equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support services for our extensive range of machines and products.

• Exhibit outstanding technical, customer service, and communication capabilities while performing job duties.

• Educate customer personnel on the fundamental operation and maintenance procedures for Alliance/Systec equipment.

• Travel autonomously to customer locations to provide equipment servicing, installation, and training.

• Install equipment and associated machinery as specified by the customer.

• Conduct service calls that involve troubleshooting, electrical/control work, system audits, preventive maintenance, rebuilds, retrofits, and system training.

• Act as the on-site supervisor/project manager during the installation and training of Alliance equipment.

• Attain and uphold technical proficiency to a degree that enables assistance in training and skill development for new Field Technicians.

• Offer customer support via telephone for technical inquiries.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma or G.E.D.

• An associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.

• 5-7 years of experience in supervising, installing, and maintaining material handling equipment or other industrial machinery.

• A strong background in electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems.

• Solid technical expertise in industrial equipment.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time or more.

• Proficient office skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and other standard business software.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings.

• Proven ability to assemble and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Experience with Industrial Sensors (such as Photo Eyes, Inductive Sensors, etc.) and Analog/Digital Positioning (including Encoders and Potentiometers).

• Proficiency with Variable Frequency Drives.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of PLCs and machine languages.
