This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Perform service tasks according to work instructions while adhering to ABB's quality and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and execute tasks based on customer orders and expectations.
• Foster customer loyalty by clearly communicating service timelines and expectations.
• Collaborate with customers on-site to identify operational improvement opportunities and resolve issues.
• Carry out field service duties, including recognizing technical problems and performing certified on-site troubleshooting.
• Compile material lists for service tasks, ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment meet quality requirements and are readily available.
• Implement installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements.
• Cultivate and maintain positive customer relationships to boost satisfaction levels.
• Spot potential new sales opportunities while addressing customer needs and communicate these internally.
• Anticipate potential equipment failures and suggest corrective measures.
• Recommend product and quality enhancements.
• Provide management with suggestions for improving operations and customer service.
• Adhere to safety protocols and uphold safe work and environmental practices.
• Promptly report unsafe practices and incidents.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 1+ years of experience servicing critical power equipment, OR an Associate's Degree in electrical technology with 3+ years of experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED combined with 5+ years of relevant work and/or military experience servicing critical power equipment.
• Advanced capability to communicate and interact (both written and verbal) with various levels within the organization.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products at an advanced level.
• Moderate skills in Project Management using MS Project or Excel.
• Highly skilled in writing test plans and reports that detail test outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines for administrative tasks.
• Excellent collaborator who works well with others.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership; committed to completing the job!
• Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
