Field Service Technician, Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Provide an outstanding customer experience while servicing our products within customers' homes.

• Troubleshoot and repair all major appliances, televisions, and air conditioning units.

• Oversee inventory management and carry out various administrative tasks daily.

• Travel to customers' locations to conduct maintenance and repair work on LG's equipment.

• Safely utilize all provided safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools from LG.

• Perform technical diagnoses and execute specialized repairs on a range of electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate the extent of the problems, document findings, and make decisions on repairs or part replacements.

• Complete paperwork and data entry after finishing each job.

• Achieve or surpass company metrics related to customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, revisits, parts management, and overtime percentage.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role, preferably in Field Service.

• Proficient in repairing major appliances, including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products.

• Familiarity with tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Competence in troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and documenting product/system issues effectively.

• A valid driver's license in good standing.

• Capability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Meet the physical demands typically associated with field service repair, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
