Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assist customers in optimizing their operations by ensuring that large-scale papermaking equipment operates at peak performance.

• Deliver hands-on field service support at customer locations.

• Offer remote troubleshooting assistance from office settings.

• Aid other field service staff while researching and preparing for service appointments.

• Travel to customer facilities throughout North America.

• Engage in machine start-ups and help test customer equipment prior to delivery in North America.

• Provide services that enhance customers' production capabilities and overall performance.

• Collaborate as a member of Valmet’s North America Services team and the Paper Machine Wet End group.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive mechanical experience and proficiency.

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical understanding.

• Background in hydraulics and pneumatics is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Proficient in computer skills.

• Self-driven and eager to acquire new knowledge.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50–80% of the time, including overnight stays as required.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
