Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Execute on-site and/or assist with remote installations of CoolIT products.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on direct liquid cooling (DLC) systems.

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings as necessary.

• Provide technical assistance to ASP or End-User on-site technicians, including those overseeing Tier 3 and 4 data centers.

• Offer Plumbing and HVAC consultation to internal teams such as Lab Technicians, Engineers, Product Managers, Sales, and Production.

• Cultivate subject matter expertise in CoolIT’s product offerings.

• Conduct training sessions for customers, service technicians, and internal staff either in-person or remotely.

• Adhere to established service procedures to troubleshoot and rectify issues, collaborating with Authorized Service Providers as needed.

• Ensure adherence to relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.

• Maintain accurate service documentation, including reports and system testing records.

• Organize and manage field service visits with end-users and Authorized Service Providers.

• Assist the Project Engineering team by obtaining and securing accurate quotes from Authorized Service Providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a Service Specialist or similar technical position with a strong grasp of project workflows and the ability to manage project components.

• Journeyman Certification in pipe trades (Plumbing, HVAC, Steam Fitting, etc.) with substantial expertise in hydronics preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Technical Cooling System Loops, including various loop configurations.

• Experience in a mission-critical environment is mandatory.

• Proficient in various pipe materials and joining techniques: plastic fusion, Victaulic piping, along with relevant clamping and torquing requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); capable of documenting work according to established protocols.

• Excellent professional communication skills, both verbal and written (English).

• Must possess a valid RealID compliant driver’s license with a clean driving record and a valid passport (eligible for international travel and security checks).

• Able to perform frequent heavy lifting (up to 150 lbs between two individuals) and work remotely in an appropriate home setup.

• Willing to travel internationally up to 65% (subject to restrictions).
