Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Execute commissioning installations, preventative maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, problem analysis, and product-specific services for the Innomotics product line.

• Deliver customer training on the maintenance and operation of MV VFD systems.

• Conduct advanced maintenance on tools, testing equipment, and related apparatus.

• Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of various hand tools, torque wrenches, and similar equipment.

• Capability to ascend ladders and stairs, and work at heights as necessary.

• Ability to lift heavy items, bend, and reach as required.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all tasks performed, including commissioning, preventative maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree, diploma, or certificate in Electrical/Electronic Technology or a related engineering field is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on technical experience with electrical measurement tools is essential.

• Proficient in using electrical measurement devices, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and various specialized equipment for communication and network systems.

• Skilled in field service, troubleshooting, and commissioning tasks related to Variable Frequency Drive products.

• Proven troubleshooting techniques and excellent interpersonal communication abilities are necessary.

• The candidate must be able to interpret and understand electrical plans, specifications, drawings, and installation schematics.

• This position requires 80% travel.

• Familiarity with Innomotics products, particularly experience with Perfect Harmony VFDs and Sinamics equipment, is preferred.
