This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver maintenance, commissioning, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair services while working independently or collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, both on customer sites and remotely.
• Ensure that all customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Conduct all on-site activities in accordance with EPC Power’s recommendations and best practices.
• Possess a foundational understanding of methods and experience related to the maintenance and operation of various equipment associated with the utility grid.
• Accurately document and update all equipment histories.
• Coordinate necessary changes to maintain minimal equipment downtime.
• Facilitate effective communication and reporting to immediate supervision and customer representatives.
• Resolve issues with minimal supervision in a timely fashion.
• Be knowledgeable about procedures and options for identifying sources of information and technical advice.
• Have sufficient product knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and perform minor control adjustments on components and systems.
• Capable of interpreting relevant drawings and technical manuals.
• Collaborate productively with the Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing Teams.
• Ensure compliance with all customer and EPC Power safety policies and procedures in all work.
• Promote on-site safety by attending general safety meetings, toolbox safety meetings, and all required safety training sessions.
• Offer suggestions for safety enhancements.
• Travel requirements range from 25% to 75%. Additional duties and responsibilities within the scope of the position as needed or assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems or equipment.
• Experience in the energy industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to understand and adhere to all customer and EPC Power safety policies.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft software applications.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally overnight, as required, up to 75% of the time (typically around 25%).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical progress and challenges clearly.
• Physical capability to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Required visual and hearing acuity.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a US Passport within 3 months of hiring.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Candidates must be physically capable of operating vehicles safely.
