This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Take charge of developing the Czech market, serving as the local business owner.
• Promote and exemplify a culture of collaboration and accountability to align with the strategic plan and associated KPIs and milestones across all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with Core leadership to define and implement the go-to-market strategy.
• Recruit and manage the local team across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Community, and Mentors.
• Enhance student acquisition and drive revenue growth through effective Sales execution and localized Marketing efforts.
• Refine and adjust the local product offerings based on market insights and commercial performance.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and the overall financial performance in the Czech market.
• Own the country P&L and provide performance updates to the leadership team regularly.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients.
• Recognize and address operational risks to maintain stability and resilience.
• Collaborate with Core teams (Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations) to ensure effective execution.
• Establish partnerships and represent the company locally with partners, media, and industry stakeholders.
• Launch courses, track performance, and make quick adjustments based on market feedback.
• Identify bottlenecks, operational issues, and areas for improvement.
• A commercially-focused builder rather than a corporate manager.
• Based in the Czech Republic with a deep understanding of the local market.
• Excellent communication skills in Czech, along with proficiency in English.
• Strong background in sales, business development, or revenue-driven roles.
• Possess commercial instincts, energy, and determination.
• Highly motivated and ambitious.
• Comfortable working in startup environments.
• Experience collaborating with Boards of Directors, major donors, foundations, state and local officials, and the media.
• Financial acumen with experience in budget management.
• Knowledge in risk management, including compliance with information security and business continuity practices.
• A natural leader capable of building and inspiring teams.
• Extremely organized and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented (addresses issues rather than waiting for instructions).
• Determined, resilient, and able to overcome challenges.
• An individual who thrives in building initiatives rather than merely maintaining them.
• Experience in education, training, or digital learning is advantageous.
