This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Spearhead operational excellence and drive profitable growth in the electrical service (ELSE) sector.
• Take ownership of business performance in areas including health and safety, productivity, quality, and key financial metrics.
• Lead field technical service resources deployed throughout the district.
• Provide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and modernization solutions for ABB clients.
• Oversee district workshops to ensure effective shop-based repairs and modernization services.
• Promote safe, high-quality, and timely execution of services.
• Collaborate with ABB regional service groups and functional teams.
• Drive strategic growth initiatives and customer success priorities within the district.
• Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to deliver effective solutions for ABB clients.
• Ensure customer loyalty through exceptional service in field service operations.
• Foster continuous improvement in field service quality and first-time-right execution.
• Track field service KPIs and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and implement enhancements to achieve service excellence.
• Uphold high standards for safety and cleanliness while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business with 5–8 years of experience, or no degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with field service operations.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Excellent planning and prioritization abilities.
• Strong customer-centric mindset.
• Practical experience with SAP, MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other office software.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience working with cultural diversity in a global business setting.
• Maintain high standards for safety and cleanliness and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Currently authorized to work and reside in the US.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Option to choose between two medical plans: a PPO plan known as the Copay Plan OR a High Deductible Health Plan (including a Health Savings Account) referred to as the High Deductible Plan.
