
Field Service Engineer β Northern Virginia

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of low voltage distribution systems, transformers, and associated power distribution equipment in a professional manner.
β’ Prepare technical reports and test sheets, while monitoring spare parts, tools, equipment, consumables, and more.
β’ Uphold and comply with safety regulations for both the company and the specific job sites.
β’ Participate in all relevant site meetings.
β’ Collaborate with Project Management and site personnel.
β’ Deliver outstanding customer service by listening to clients' needs and addressing them or escalating them within our organization for resolution.
β’ Maintain regular communication with Project Managers to receive and convey information.
β’ Actively work to reduce waste and enhance value in all processes.
β’ Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations and engage in safe work practices.
β’ Follow company policies and regulations.
β’ Perform additional duties as necessary.
β’ An Associate's degree in electrical power distribution or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar area.
β’ Military experience is a plus.
β’ Preference for candidates with Data Center or equivalent mission-critical system experience.
β’ Proven experience with electrical power distribution systems, power monitoring systems, both AC and DC electrical power, as well as communication protocols.
β’ Preferred experience of three to five years in designing low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems and/or power distribution equipment.
β’ Familiarity with UL Standards, including UL67 Panelboards, UL1008 Transfer Switch Equipment, UL10008S Static Transfer Switches, UL60950 Information Technology Equipment, UL891 Switchboards, and UL1558 Metal-Enclosed Low-Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear, among other relevant standards.

β’ Proficiency in using testing equipment, including multimeters, current meters, and related devices.
