Field Service Engineer – North UK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Effectively and efficiently repair and maintain customer equipment.

• Execute pre-installations and installations.

• Provide remote call pre-qualification and strive to resolve issues remotely whenever feasible.

• Document and report technical issues as necessary; ensure the logging and closure of calls.

• Offer field support to customers primarily in the UK/IE, with occasional travel to Europe.

• Maintain technical and professional expertise by proactively seeking out learning opportunities through knowledge sharing and participating in training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in service provision, repair management, and installations of Wide Format printing equipment (or a similar area) is preferred.

• A proven history of success in a customer-facing role that involves working from home or in the field, or in an independent setting.

• A strong drive and self-discipline to maintain focus and meet deadlines without direct oversight.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to convey technical information and instructions in a clear and concise manner.

• Ability to identify areas for enhancement and implement effective solutions.

• Familiarity with common Office IT Applications (MS Word, Excel, email, etc.).

• Desirable networking, operating system, and IT skills.

• Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK and Ireland.
