• Deliver technical assistance to customers and contractors regarding FLS equipment throughout construction, commissioning, and operational maintenance phases.
• Offer customer support via phone, email, and remote assistance.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering divisions to define solutions for both new systems and upgrades.
• Evaluate the operation of new and existing installations, providing customers and engineering teams with suggestions for enhancement.
• Observe customer and market trends to identify new opportunities and generate leads for the sales team.
• Partner with team members to foster continuous improvement of products and services.
• Ensure that all tasks are executed safely and adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
• Offer training and development support to fellow engineers within FLS.
• May be assigned as a super user or product expert for specific offerings.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management during the transition of projects from the engineering phase to commissioning.
• Conduct gap analysis, risk analysis, scope of work evaluations, and identify training needs.
• Provide constructive feedback to stakeholders regarding quality concerns and suggestions for product and process enhancements.
• Deliver comprehensive and timely reports on services rendered and key issues to management and clients.
• Maintain extensive contact with customers.
• Must cultivate and sustain positive relationships with customers.
• Expenditure authority is restricted to personal and team expenses, as well as basic tools and parts necessary for assignments.
• Operate independently at customer sites without direct supervision.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in mechanical equipment support and troubleshooting, preferably as a Millwright or process maintenance mechanic.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, primarily within North America.
• Capability to travel to Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
• Must be able to obtain or already possess a current Passport for travel.
• Understanding and readiness to work in a mining environment that requires physical activities such as standing, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
