
Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Manage the expiration dates of all tools and test equipment, ensuring that no overdue calibration test equipment is utilized or maintained in the field, with documentation of tool and test usage included in service reports.
• Oversee company assets, including a company vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
• Accurately perform essential administrative tasks.
• Install, calibrate, and service Imaging and Clinical Networking equipment at client locations.
• Conduct routine servicing, modifications, preventative maintenance, and compliance testing according to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete all assigned Preventive Maintenance (PMs), modifications, and installation calibrations prior to any overdue deadlines.
• Keep service call notes and status updated throughout the duration of the call.
• Seek assistance if required.
• Actively search the Delta database for any service calls to take over from other Customer Service Engineers (CSEs) who are unable to meet due dates (emphasizing teamwork).
• Identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively, escalating matters as necessary in accordance with company procedures.
• Adhere to on-call and calibration commitments as per schedules.
• Proactively pursue product knowledge, service knowledge, and training opportunities.
• Complete office paperwork, parts management, and dispatch requirements accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Relay customer requests and feedback to the appropriate personnel to enhance service quality.
• Communicate all sales and service leads to the designated Account Executive (AE) or Service Manager.
• Fulfill all responsibilities of a Customer Service Engineer as detailed in the quality management system.
• Support Delta Medical Systems' quality policy by complying with quality management system documentation.
• Adhere to all customer site requirements, which may include specific vaccinations.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Technology, or a related technical electronics field, military equivalent, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ideal candidates should exhibit situational awareness and a commitment to working safely and efficiently under all conditions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
• A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to drive independently both day and night, in various weather conditions, and a clean driving record.
• Proficient understanding of instrument systems technology, including mechanics, electrical, and software technology.
• Experience with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is necessary.
• Availability to be on-call during non-standard work hours is required.
• Proficiency in the use of tools, service test equipment, and diagnostic software is expected.
• Exceptional customer relations skills are a must.
