
Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Manage expiration dates for all tools and test equipment to ensure no overdue calibration test equipment is utilized or maintained in the field, with documentation of tool and test usage on service reports.
• Oversee company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
• Accurately perform necessary administrative tasks.
• Install, calibrate, and service Imaging and Clinical Networking equipment at customer locations.
• Conduct routine service, modifications, preventative maintenance, and compliance testing according to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete all assigned PMs, modifications, and installation calibrations prior to any past-due dates.
• Maintain updated service call notes and status throughout the call.
• Seek assistance when required.
• Proactively search the Delta database for service calls to take over when other CSEs are unable to meet due dates (emphasizing teamwork).
• Timely identify and resolve issues, escalating as necessary according to company procedures.
• Adhere to on-call and calibration commitments according to schedules.
• Actively pursue product knowledge, service knowledge, and training opportunities.
• Accurately and promptly complete office paperwork, parts management, and dispatch requirements.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Relay customer requests and feedback to relevant personnel to enhance service quality.
• Communicate all sales and service leads to the appropriate Account Executive or Service Manager.
• Carry out all responsibilities of a Customer Service Engineer as detailed in the quality management system.
• Support Delta Medical Systems' quality policy by complying with quality management system documentation.
• Adhere to all customer site requirements, which may include certain vaccinations.
• Execute other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Technology, or another technical electronics discipline, military equivalent, or at least 2 years of related work experience.
• Ideal candidates will exhibit situational awareness and a dedication to working safely and efficiently under all conditions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with the ability to drive independently both day and night in various weather conditions, along with a clean driving record.
• Strong proficiency in instrument systems technology, encompassing mechanics, electrical, and software technology.
• Experience with electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is required.
• Willingness to be “on-call” during non-standard work hours.
• Proficient in the use of tools, service test equipment, and diagnostic software.
• Excellent customer relations skills are necessary.
