Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Accountable for managing customer relationships through technical expertise.

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer locations throughout Southeast and nationally.

• Provide outstanding customer service by establishing clear expectations.

• Foster robust customer relationships that contribute to the growth of service revenue.

• Work collaboratively with the regional team to enhance processes and share best practices.

• Broaden capabilities by acquiring knowledge of new tools across various modalities.

• Fulfill all necessary administrative and compliance responsibilities.

• Identify and resolve system issues utilizing established tools.

• Conduct preventative maintenance, field modifications, installations, and corrective service.

• Travel extensively (approximately 90%), including overnight stays and nationwide air travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of diagnostic imaging service experience (either field or hospital-based) or 3+ years in an electromechanical service setting.

• Preferred experience in supporting diagnostic X-Ray, Cath Labs, or Image-Guided therapy equipment.

• Strong technical aptitude with the capability to apply principles of electronics, mechanics, and networking.

• Proficient in using a diverse array of diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

• Possess an associate degree in electronics or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and hands-on experience.

• Effective problem-solving skills in regulated service environments.

• Capable of meeting the physical, cognitive, and environmental demands of a field service position.
