Field Service Engineer – LSMS

📋 Description

• Execute service activities including installations, repairs, maintenance services, and technical support for Unity Lab Services.

• Provide support for Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instruments primarily in the Cork area, with occasional travel throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.

• Carry out field service duties in accordance with internal policies, customer regulations, and health and safety protocols.

• Deliver on-site services while working remotely.

• Adhere to ethical business conduct standards.

• Enhance personal work schedule by collaborating with necessary partners for service planning.

• Manage company assets such as parts inventory, laptop, mobile phone, test equipment, tools, software, and company vehicle.

• Ensure timely and precise reporting of activities, including field service and expense reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or similar fields.

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in servicing analytical equipment.

• Knowledge of Mass Spectrometry, Liquid Chromatography, or Gas Chromatography is advantageous, but not mandatory.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal, self-motivational, and negotiation skills.

• Proficient in PC literacy.

• A valid UK driving license.

• Strong English language skills, both spoken and written.

• Ability to collaborate across various levels, functions, and regions.
