This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Execute the installation, start-up, conditioning, commissioning, debugging, and testing of Battery Cabinets (BC) at client locations as needed.
• Diagnose and analyze product issues through email, phone, or on-site visits to customer locations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Production teams to efficiently resolve product issues and meet customer expectations.
• Create, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department.
• Document necessary processes and procedures for technical purposes.
• Deliver outstanding technical service and support to both internal and external customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate training and refreshers on Battery Cabinet (BC) Systems for Service and Support personnel, customers, and third-party service providers.
• Willingness to travel as required (up to 75%) within the U.S. and internationally.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, electro-chemistry, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with Battery/Battery Management Systems and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) in the Data Center Market.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with and around high voltage equipment in both indoor and outdoor industrial settings.
• Experience in software/firmware testing and programming.
• Profound knowledge of electrical/electronic schematics and a solid understanding of mechanical designs.
• Proficiency in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, AC/DC power analyzers, digital multimeters, and electrical/electronic loads.
• Proven ability to provide customer-facing support while maintaining professionalism and composure in high-stress situations.
• Experience managing travel logistics and expenses.
• Background in training technicians, external customers, and third-party service providers.
• Familiarity with Data Center network and communication systems.
• Demonstrated teamwork, dependability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Capability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision both onsite and in the field.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite, Visio, SAP, or other ERP programs.
