
Field Service Engineer II – Chromatography

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Conduct on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, qualifications, and validations of Chromatography systems.
• Efficiently utilize customer management software to manage service calls, oversee parts inventories, and accomplish job assignments.
• Assess examination and evaluation results to determine the source of the issue and recommend solutions, replacements, or alternative corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and other teams to expedite problem resolution.
• Review Chemistry reports related to technical issues to suggest modifications that prevent future occurrences.
• Act as a communication bridge between the customer and the company to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Create and deliver training sessions on safe equipment operations and demonstrate skills to trainees.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Preference is given to candidates with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Service Engineer, particularly with analytical instrumentation, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiarity with Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instrumentation is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster positive customer relationships.
• Capability to prioritize service requests and produce clear, concise documentation.
• A clean driving record is required.
