This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Deliver first-tier technical support to partners (VARs) through both phone and non-phone channels.
• Address common product or configuration problems by adhering to established operating procedures.
• Assist ticket creators who are tasked with designing, implementing, configuring, operating, and maintaining the end customer’s security solution.
• Report to the Senior Tech Support Supervisor located in Framingham, MA, and adhere to a remote work schedule.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in troubleshooting software or security equipment, either in a contact call center or in-field on-premises capacity.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of Networking Fundamentals.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP Basics.
• Basic skills in Network Troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Database Fundamentals, including the purpose of a database, the function of an SQL database engine, and data storage methods.
• Basic understanding of SQL or Operating System Administration.
• Awareness of the role of Access Control and Video in Security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
