This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver exceptional technical expertise in the field at customer locations nationwide.
• Responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, training, and repair of customer equipment.
• Execute repairs, perform on-site commissioning, and conduct servicing and calibration of customers' inline inspection equipment following established processes and procedures.
• Provide on-site training to customers as necessary.
• Address customer inquiries on-site with fairness and professionalism.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with company protocols.
• Expected to assist by working overtime as needed.
• Participate in the on-call standby rotation as required.
• Offer technical support via phone and email when needed.
• Strong technical skills in Electrical/Electronics.
• Minimum qualifications of BTEC/ONC/HNC or equivalent in electromechanical/electrical engineering.
• Ideally, have experience in a field service role and be well-versed in all aspects of customer service, including commissioning, repairs, and servicing.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and PC hardware is advantageous.
• Proficient in PC usage.
• Excellent organizational skills focused on reliably delivering commitments.
• Methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Possess a full, current driving license.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good customer service abilities.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasionally stay overnight is required.
