
Field Service Engineer β Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +3 more states.
β’ Deliver technical assistance throughout all stages of GIS project implementation, which includes installation, commissioning, testing, acceptance, and handover.
β’ Provide on-site oversight for the installation and commissioning processes of GIS substations.
β’ Oversee troubleshooting initiatives involving field personnel and subcontractors.
β’ Assist and supervise contracted maintenance activities to guarantee effective completion of work.
β’ Keep comprehensive site documentation, encompassing operational procedures, performance reports, test data, and equipment manuals.
β’ Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless site execution.
β’ Collaborate closely with customers on-site to enhance service outcomes and satisfaction.
β’ Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of tools, equipment, vehicles, materials, and supplies at job sites.
β’ Accountable for ensuring adherence to applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
β’ At least 2β4 years of relevant experience in engineering and/or construction settings.
β’ Strong comprehension of electrical and mechanical equipment.
β’ Proficient interpersonal and communication abilities for fieldwork and customer interactions.
β’ Capability to lead teams and resolve on-site conflict situations effectively.
β’ Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
β’ Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.
