This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Deliver technical assistance throughout all phases of project execution, encompassing commissioning, testing, acceptance, and handover.
• Oversee installation and commissioning tasks for GIS substations at client locations.
• Conduct troubleshooting actions involving field staff and subcontractors.
• Uphold safety standards and company policies at all job sites.
• Ensure the proper utilization of tools, equipment, vehicles, materials, and supplies at site locations.
• Monitor contracted maintenance operations to verify that work is performed effectively and efficiently.
• Keep thorough site documentation, including operational procedures, performance reports, test data, and equipment manuals.
• Facilitate coordination and communication both internally and externally to ensure seamless site operations.
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Candidates must already possess work authorization that allows them to be employed by Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Relevant experience in engineering and/or construction settings, ideally within the power sector.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Project.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a knack for managing teams and resolving conflicts.
