Field Service Engineer – Early Career Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Tasked with establishing and nurturing strong interpersonal connections with customer representatives.

• Ensuring customer contentment while overseeing all equipment models relevant to a specific modality or modalities within the designated area.

• Conducting comprehensive system-level troubleshooting for intricate multi-symptom issues.

• Engaging daily with doctors and technicians regarding equipment status concerns.

• Taking proactive measures to guarantee the satisfaction of primary customers.

• Supporting Account Sales visits; assisting in the training of others as needed; identifying Sales opportunities and relaying them to the account team.

• Contributing to the growth and strategic direction of the business within their geographic territory.

• Accountable for Warranty and PMS contract cost management.

• Completing all administrative tasks promptly.

• Ensuring the timely fulfillment of FMIs and PMS inspections documentation for assigned accounts.

• Taking a leading role in complex and multifunctional environments.

• Sharing best practices with colleagues.

• Upholding effective quality systems and programs that comply with ISO 9001 standards.

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.

• Possesses strong technical analytical skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Maintains high work standards and quality.

• Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.

• Plans and organizes work efficiently.

• Exhibits strong customer service skills; manages differences of opinion tactfully and effectively, influencing rather than directing.

• Requires own transportation and a valid driving license.
