Field Service Engineer – Drives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• All on-site life extension, repair, and inspection-related service activities at customer locations.

• This includes onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of a specific technical discipline.

• Apply previous experience and acquired technical knowledge to implement policies and strategies.

• Possess a deep understanding of key business drivers; utilize this knowledge to achieve personal objectives.

• Have a thorough comprehension of how the work of your team interacts with other teams and contributes to the overall area.

• Exercise a degree of judgment and the ability to suggest alternative solutions beyond established parameters, with guidance.

• Leverage past experience and on-the-job training to address straightforward tasks.

• Offer informal guidance to new team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced experience in Services & On-Site Services (for roles outside of the USA).

• Knowledge level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)) (for roles in the USA).

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proven capability to analyze and resolve issues.

• Ability to document, plan, market, and implement programs.

• Established skills in project management.
