Field Service Engineer – Drives

📋 Description

• All on-site life extension, repair, and inspection-related service activities at customer locations.

• This includes onsite machining, NDT, blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.

• Cultivating in-depth knowledge within a technical discipline.

• Leverages prior experience and acquired technical expertise to implement policy and strategy.

• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of key business drivers and utilizes this knowledge to achieve individual objectives.

• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of how the work of their own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall area.

• Applies judgment and is able to propose various solutions beyond established parameters, with guidance.

• Utilizes prior experience and on-the-job training to address straightforward tasks.

• Offers informal guidance to new team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced experience in Services & On-Site Services (for roles outside of the USA).

• Knowledge level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)) (for roles in the USA).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively.

• Capability to document, plan, market, and implement programs.

• Established skills in project management.
