Field Service Engineer – Drives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute maintenance services and activities on customer sites or properties.

• Contribute to the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of sold or existing products.

• Oversee maintenance facilities and field services engineering.

• Responsible for the planning and execution of all onsite life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities that can be conducted at customer locations.

• This includes onsite machining, non-destructive testing (NDT), blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.

• Develop comprehensive knowledge in a specific technical discipline.

• Utilize prior experience and acquired technical skills to implement policies and strategies.

• Suggest solutions that may fall outside established parameters, with appropriate guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Services & On-Site Services.

• Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma accompanied by relevant experience.

• For positions in the USA: a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in relevant Job Family Group(s)/Function(s).

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Proven capability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.

• Proficient in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Established skills in project management.
