This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver technical support to Topcon customers.
• Conduct independent and/or supervised on-site installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on Topcon’s wide range of Eyecare equipment.
• Work collaboratively with other Field Service Engineers, the Field Service Manager, Sales Representatives, and internal cross-functional teams.
• Manage and oversee field inventory, tools, test equipment, technical documentation, and other assigned resources.
• Prepare and submit relevant field service documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
• Provide instruction and training to customers on the technical operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Travel to assist in various Field Service territories.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Prior experience as a field service professional or in a similar role.
• CompTIA Network+ certification or a background in networking is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Required skills include demonstrated functional technical abilities, problem-solving, and analytical proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers are essential.
• Ability to adhere to mentorship instructions and guidance is required.
• Effective time management skills to meet customer commitments are necessary.
