📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations primarily in Switzerland, as well as France and Germany, to install, service, update, and repair Thermo Fisher SUT hardware and automation products.

• Deliver expert technical support and problem-solving for our innovative bioproduction equipment.

• Execute installations, maintenance, and repairs on a wide array of high-value analytical instruments.

• Conduct commissioning and qualification of equipment by implementing Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Installation/Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ) Protocols.

• Merge technical expertise with exceptional customer service skills to tackle complex challenges and assist our customers in making groundbreaking discoveries.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and enhance processes.

• Document all activities in the Sales Force Service desk, providing management, hardware, and software groups with customer feedback.

• Contribute to optimizing revenue and exploring new product development opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Biomedical or a related scientific discipline) or an equivalent qualification.

• Advanced Degree coupled with 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proven track record in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex analytical instruments, particularly within the bioproduction domain.

• Strong aptitude for electronics and mechanics with the capability to diagnose problems at the component level.

• Excellent customer service abilities and a professional demeanor.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German and French is highly advantageous.

• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with Windows operating systems, MS Office, and service management software.

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and documentation.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 75-100% of the time.

• Physical capability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended durations.

• Experience with bioproduction equipment, particularly Single Use Technology (SUT) hardware and automation products.

• Availability for flexible working hours and readiness to respond to emergency service calls.

• Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities.

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in the field.
