Field Service Engineer

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; no prior experience is necessary.

• Preferred experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced analytical instruments.

• Ideal fields of study include Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Biomedical) or a related scientific discipline.

• Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are advantageous.

• Strong electronics and mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose issues at the component level.

• Excellent customer service abilities and a professional demeanor.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.

• Proven problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

• Proficiency in Windows operating systems, MS Office, and service management software.

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and documentation.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50-75% of the time.

• Physical capability to lift up to 20 kg and to stand for prolonged periods.

• Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high voltage equipment is preferred.

• Flexibility to work varying hours and respond to emergency service requests.

• Must be able to obtain necessary credentials to access customer facilities.

• Strong organizational abilities and effective time management skills.

• Collaborative approach with the ability to work independently.

• Many tasks will require fine motor skills.
