This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Execute field service tasks as directed by Customer Care in collaboration with the Service / Team Leader.
• Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of both current and future Life Science / Diagnostics instrument offerings.
• Deliver first-line, onsite user training on Life Science / Diagnostics Systems.
• Organize routine maintenance scheduled on a monthly basis.
• Ensure that all documentation, Service Data Bulletins, and manuals are up-to-date to carry out service on specific instrument types.
• Adopt personal work practices that meet or surpass customer expectations.
• Maintain a work ethic that enhances both personal and team KPIs.
• Manage personal service spares and inventory records to the highest standards.
• Ensure all discrepancies are reported and resolved promptly and effectively.
• Verify that all tools and testing equipment are sufficient for the required service and that all test equipment provided is calibrated as specified.
• Complete all Work Orders and related documentation within one day of task completion.
• Ensure timely submission of all E-Learning, Expense Claims, and Vehicle-related forms.
• Execute specific tasks as defined through the Goal statements, which are integrated into the Company Culture.
• Relevant educational background or equivalent experience in a scientific or engineering field is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
• Experience in a Customer Service setting, ideally with Life Science / Diagnostic instrument applications.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers at all levels, offering service information, technical data, and general assistance as required.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 2 – 3 nights away each week).
• Valid UK/EU driving license.
