• Conducts field service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and installation of instrumentation and their accessories.
• Delivers onsite training to users on specified product groups.
• Ensures that documentation is accurate and of high quality.
• Reporting to the LifeScience and Applied Genomics service leader for the UK and Ireland, the successful applicant may be required to travel within the UK and occasionally across Europe for support.
• Relevant educational background (e.g., Degree/Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Extensive experience, ideally within a Customer Service Environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driving licence.
• Maintains personal service spares and inventory records to the highest standards.
• Ensures all discrepancies are promptly reported and resolved effectively.
• Confirms that all tools and testing equipment are suitable for the required services and that all issued test equipment is calibrated as specified.
• Submits all completed service documentation, including Service Reports, Time Sheets, Expenses Claims, and Motor Vehicle Log Sheets, in a timely manner.
• At the request of the Service Manager, provides service on behalf of Revvity, adhering to the standards expected in the UK and Ireland for sites of international customers.
