Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Executing installations, commissioning, maintenance, and service activities on high-voltage systems (such as GIS, AIS, circuit breakers, transformers, and hybrid systems)

• Diagnosing and resolving faults while conducting technical diagnostics on-site

• Implementing retrofit, upgrade, and modernization initiatives

• Ensuring adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and quality standards

• Preparing technical documentation and maintaining clear records of service activities

• Collaborating closely with our teams and offering expert support and guidance to our customers

• Providing training to customer personnel on the operation, application, and maintenance of equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Power/Energy Engineering, Mechatronics with a specialization in electrical engineering, or related fields

• Experience in high-voltage technology, preferably in a field service context

• Familiarity with high-voltage products (such as GIS, AIS, transformers, or other HV components) is an advantage

• Willingness to travel frequently, both nationally and potentially internationally, based on project specialization and individual preference

• Independent and structured working style coupled with strong problem-solving abilities

• Customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills

• Reliable and diligent execution of service tasks at customer locations

• Proficient in German and good command of English (minimum B2 level).
