Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional service and repair assistance for GE OEC equipment.

• Offer support to customer locations throughout South Los Angeles, the South Bay area, and Orange County.

• Conduct basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair services on assigned equipment.

• Execute Preventative Maintenance and adhere to Field Modification Instructions.

• Manage the ordering and cycle times of repair parts.

• Maintain regular communication with customers to guarantee issue resolution and appropriate follow-up.

• Ensure adherence to Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and other regulatory standards.

• Engage in sales opportunities, including contract renewals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military training, or an Associate’s Degree with two years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.

• Three years of relevant experience, successfully completing the GEHC Field Service Engineer Apprentice Program, or a High School Diploma/GED with twelve or more years of experience in servicing electronic equipment.

• Proficiency in interacting with both internal team members and external customers within a solution-oriented service framework.

• Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, or electronic equipment.

• Capable of troubleshooting and addressing customer concerns effectively.
