This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for offering technical guidance and support to clients regarding the operation and maintenance of company products.
• Act as the primary contact for customers on technical and service-related inquiries.
• Illustrate the uses and benefits of products.
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing, QA/QC, and research and development teams to resolve customer issues, identify corrective actions, and ensure follow-up.
• Install, check, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within the timelines set by service management.
• Deliver preventative maintenance in line with established procedures.
• Maintain performance and maintenance logs for equipment.
• Offer guidance and training to customer personnel in developing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.
• Investigate equipment failures to ascertain the cause and suggest corrective measures.
• Counsel and assist in implementing design modifications aimed at enhancing equipment efficiency or reducing operational costs.
• May engage in the installation planning stage.
• Uphold customer goodwill through effective communication regarding all provided services, timely updates on on-site arrival, prompt notifications of any delays, clear communication of service and operator concerns, and maintaining a positive demeanor on behalf of the company, its products, employees, and customers, along with adhering to professional appearance standards as defined by service management.
• Efficiently manage company assets, including the company vehicle, computer, trunk stock parts inventory, test equipment, and tools.
• All employees are responsible for ensuring adherence to company documents, programs, and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per their roles and responsibilities.
• High School Diploma/GED (Trade School/Tech Certification is a plus).
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar field-based repair role.
• Proficiency in computer skills is essential.
• Must be acquainted with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Capable of obtaining credit approval for a Corporate Credit card.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think independently.
• Detail-oriented.
• Possess strong problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Should be able to bend, push, and perform similar physical tasks.
• Manual dexterity is necessary.
• Willingness to work up to and beyond 8 hours per day.
• Availability for 40 hours/week, including weekends, holidays, and after-hours.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
