Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Organizes and delivers technical training for distributor staff, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.

• Evaluates and resolves issues with Franklin Electric products, overseeing and supporting product installations.

• Advocates for and showcases Franklin Electric products and initiatives at trade shows and special events, conducting product demonstrations as required.

• Gathers and reports marketing intelligence related to competitor products, industry distribution trends, personnel changes, and customer preferences.

• Prepares and submits weekly reports, along with special reports to address issues at specific locations and/or with particular customers or products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Composes reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals.

• Interprets a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form, managing several abstract and concrete variables.

• Communicates information effectively and addresses questions in face-to-face and small group settings with customers, clients, the general public, and/or other staff members.

• A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in water systems or a related industry is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent relevant experience is required.

• Willingness to travel 70 percent of the time, including up to 50 percent for overnight trips.
