Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Provide on-site and remote technical assistance for the operation, diagnosis, and repair of Flow systems.

• Aid customers in troubleshooting, identifying parts, and resolving technical issues through phone, email, or site visits.

• Ensure the timely completion of all necessary administrative documentation and service reports.

• Comply with Flow’s Return Material Authorization (RMA) policy and document all system issues reported by customers.

• Support documentation initiatives, including keeping product manuals, specifications, and technical references up to date.

• Collaborate with the customer service team to identify parts and provide technical insights.

• Act as a professional intermediary between Flow and its customers/distributors, fostering a positive and effective relationship.

• Travel to customer locations, occasionally at short notice and outside regular business hours, including weekends and holidays, for extended periods as required.

• Engage in on-call rotations as assigned, delivering after-hours technical support as necessary.

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on customer equipment and assist in the creation of maintenance schedules.

• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical discipline.

• At least 2 years of field service experience with robotics, motion control systems, CNC machinery, or similar capital equipment.

• Experience with microprocessor control systems is highly desirable.

• CNC programming experience is an advantage.

• Proficient in utilizing business software such as MS Office, Outlook, Teams, Concur, and Kronos.

• Prior experience providing technical support via phone is preferred.
