This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Install, repair, and provide training to customers on CNC Cutting Machine Products.
• Test malfunctioning equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronic device operations to diagnose issues and implement repairs.
• Compose technical reports that detail malfunctions and deviations from design specifications.
• Identify and diagnose faulty equipment.
• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on customers' machines.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers, programmers, engineers, technicians, and production staff to resolve issues.
• Engage in communications with customer operators and maintenance staff.
• Arrange travel in a timely manner to meet customer needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• An associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or 2-3 years of relevant experience; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience with ESAB equipment is advantageous.
• Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business publications, professional and technical journals, and government regulations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of applying advanced mathematical concepts (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, schematic diagrams, etc.).
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel domestically (100%) and occasional international travel to support our customers.
